“For all the promises of God in Christ are Yes, and in Him Amen, to the glory of God through us.”

2 Corinthians 1:20

What God is about to do for you, He’s already approved. If God promised it to you, know that there’s a “yes,” and an “amen” that has signed, sealed, and delivered that promise to you. Is there anyone who has desired something of the Lord and because it did not come when you thought it ought to, when you wanted it to come, when you believed you were ready to receive it, you have begun to doubt?

But, to everything there is a season, a time for every purpose under the sun. God said, there is seed time; there is preparation, planting, watering, weeding, and growing then the harvest. Some promises are born in an hour, some take years to manifest. As we embrace this truth and learn to embrace where we are, we will grow in grace and in sufficiency as God prepares His people, His children, to walk in excellence.

This is the season of Great Expectation. And, anyone who’s been pregnant knows that you can’t conceive on Monday and birth the promise on Friday. It takes time to birth a promise of greatness but we in our natural we try to induce our labour so that the promise comes before it’s time. And, anyone who knows someone who’s had a baby knows that often times the pains that come with birthing something through the induction process is more painful than just allowing that promise to come naturally. And that same woman knows that sometimes a premature baby will either die or won’t develop fully into what he or she was supposed to become.

Ask any woman, and she will tell you, manifesting that promise was not easy. But she will also tell you that when it was all over, she didn’t remember the pain. It was all good, the glory of the promise, the joy of the promise, the excitement of the promise and the gratefulness of the promise.

In this season of expectation, in this season of hope, in this season of faith, base your hope on nothing less than Jesus’ blood and His righteousness. Walk into the challenge of who God ordained and predestined you to be, a person of excellence.
