“A wicked man puts up a bold front but an upright man gives thought to his ways.” Proverbs 21:29

According to the Word of God, a wicked man is the one who does not admit his fault, he does not readily admits his mistakes or inadequacies. He will make every efforts at denying he is at fault on any issue no matter how obvious it may be; he will try so hard to justify whatever he has done or doing.

King Saul was an anointed king who God later deserted because of his disobedience and too proud to admit his errors. Saul rather than follow God’s instruction to the letter, he allowed his people to spare and take the spoils of the Amalekites whom they were meant to totally destroy. When he was confronted by Samuel, he put up a defense that it was the people in order to justify himself.

If like Saul, you are always justifying yourself even when it is obvious you have done wrong, you need to mend your ways because God regards such a person as a wicked one.
