“Without counsel, plans go awry, but in the multitude of counselors  they are established.”

Proverbs 15:22

Do you have any plans in life? Did they fail or succeed? Proverbs 3:5-6 “Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.”

Plans fail for lack of counsel. Good counseling in life helps. Where do we get it? Hopefully, we start with mom and dad. All parents need to counsel their children as much as possible about life: money, dating, work, sex, Christianity, etc.

We also need good counseling from Christian friends, ministers, elders, etc. We need to help one another when asked, if we can help then we should.

“Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers they succeed, seeking counsel is a great idea but it must not replace our own seeking to hear from God. God counsel expands our horizon and enriches us in a way we never imagined.

Seeking godly counsel is a sign of strength, not weakness.
