“Through the Lord’s mercies we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not. They are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”

Lamentations 3:22-23

The secret to access never-ending mercies is to understand that there is a renewal process that has to happen. His mercies never come to an end but you have to seek them every morning. God’s love, compassion and faithfulness have been placed in an account that cannot be overdrawn, that you don’t have to contribute to, and that will last as long as you live.

We are living in dangerous times when different kinds of destruction are surrounding us. Dan- gers arise because of crime and lawlessness; dangers arise out of natural calamities, when nature’s fury rises against us in an unprecedented manner. We cannot survive these dangers in our own strength and wisdom; we need the grace and mercy of God to protect us in these times. We need journey mercies in all our travelling when we go out and when we come in, we need the Lord to be a wall of fire around us and a glory in our midst.

In a world that does not seem to care, where only the fittest survive, we need to know that God’s love, compassion, and faithfulness are new every day.

Let us appreciate God because yesterday’s mercy has expired and today is new while tomorrow is going to be fresh.
